We are pleased to announce that on January 7th Torrent gave birth to 4 girls and 3 boys. We are taking reservations for this litter with puppies ready to go home starting March 4th, 2012.

Torrent is a very light coloured Golden with a wonderful soft and gentle temperament, who makes friends wherever she goes. She loves to run, swim and chase the tennis ball and is probably our best retriever with her speed, agility and determination to succeed. But, she is also ready to curl up with us on the couch for a snuggle, and she makes friends wherever she goes.

Gordon is a very handsome boy, easily becoming a Champion show dog this past summer, with a rich golden coat. His mother is a very red golden colour, so the mixture with Torrent should produce a range of colours in the pups. Gord is also a consummate gentleman, he is a great example of the beautiful Golden temperament with a friendly and loving nature. Many intact males are often difficult to handle, but Gordon's dog walker in the Toronto Beach area says he is the only intact male she will take along as part of a group.

We expect this litter to produce some great pups for us.

On Friday the 13th Phoenix gave us a litter of 5 girls and 2 boys. The pups all look to be a nice medium gold colour just like the parents. These pups will be ready to start going home around March the 10th, we still have some reservations available for this litter.

Phoenix is a petit Golden girl with a lovely soft coat, a typical Golden gentle temperament, and a very loving personality. She likes to cuddle and snuggle beside us on the couch, but is also and avid and intelligent retriever. She always watches the ball and knows where to look for it if the other dogs can't find it. She never challenges our other dogs while retrieving, but always manages to come up with her share of balls.

McDuff is a very well put together boy with lots of coat and lots of personality. He is very much a people dog and loves to play and run, but he also gets along well with other dogs, including our pups. He is a great fan of curling up in front of a fire and always comes to lie at my feet when he is in the room with us. His good looks and sound structure get passed on to his kids, we think we have a very compatible match with him and Phoenix.
